Automatic Roll Down Hurricane Shutters are the strongest, most convenient type of hurricane shutter and are the easiest to operate. Roll Downs are designed to protect windows, balconies, doors, lanais and all other exterior openings. Ideal for single-family homes, high-rise apartment, condominiums, schools, hospitals, offices and commercial buildings, Roll Down Shutters provide storm protection, sun and weather protection, security, and privacy.

Automatic Roll Down Shutters are pre-installed, PVC or metal louver shutters. They are housed in a box above each window and roll down along a set of tracks on either side and lock at the bottom. If they are motorized they can be closed with the flick of a switch. For large windows and doors reinforcing rods must be inserted after deployment to insure shutter strength.
